Hello, my name is Pablo.

Industrial engineer with an IT heart.

I am passionate about IT and technology. What I am really good at is combining this passion with my profession: IT gives you access to all kind of data, but this data needs to be analyzed in order to provide useful information that enhaces improvement in the company, and right there is where industrial engineering comes in handy.

However, I am not only limited to those fields: I also love statistics and economics. The first one helps me to extract valid conclusions from big data. The second is useful to convert the things in real life (machines, processes, people) to money, which allows to take much better decisions.

Leadership of the digitalization effort of the company. Coordination of international expansion projects. Advisory and consultancy services to other departments. Supervision of the development of computer tools. Study and proposal of new KPIs.

2015 - 2017

OPERATIONS COORDINATOR - PINTURAS ISAVAL

Support to operations management. Coordination of international expansion projects. Development of proposals for improvement and tools to implement them, the vast majority of them successfully implemented and useful in the daily life of the factory. Development and use of KPIs. Production planning and scheduling.

What I do

Wny me and not another? Because I have a particular set of skills that gives me an extra value over other industrial engineers.

1. Analysis

Before facing a problem you need to define it properly, and to do so you need to be able to get the right data. That is what I do.

2. Study

You cannot always get to conclusions with the data alone, often it is required to find the underlying relations between all the variables. That is what I do.

3. Solution

In most cases, it is enough to expose all the data clearly and structured to be able to detect the root of the problem and find it a solution. That is what I do.

4. Reengineering

Whenever a problem is detected in a process, it is mandatory to change the process, what could be better than study this process and redo it in an optimal way? That is what I do.

5. Consulting

For the management of a company it is impossible to know every field in depth. Sometimes is better to delegate in an expert in order to get the best possible outcome. That is what I do.

6. Decision making

If there is not a clear winner solution, you need to choose what to do, but to do so is better to use quantifiable criteria. That is what I do.
